Who we are
Brown Hat Consulting is a team of information technology professionals with a focus on teamwork, professionalism, customer service, and our core values. We possess a broad range of skills, talents, and experience ranging from project management and professional advice to varying degrees of technical capabilities.
Our company is veteran-owned and led and, as civilian professionals, we acknowledge and operate according to the same values by which served our country: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.
What we believe

What we do
We partner with you to provide professional Information Technology services for your business needs. More specifically, we use our education and experience to either provide or to discover and vet the professional talent required to fulfill your business needs. From us, you receive high quality Information Technology services without having to hire and manage a full time Information Technology department.
How we do it
We work with you to discover your vision, outline your business function, and determine your Information Technology needs. Then we work with you to create a custom service plan to meet your vison, needs, and allowance.
The idea is to get the job done in time, on time, and within the allotted budget while encouraging and maintaining a positive relationship between you, the customer, and us, Brown Hat Consulting.
Community Service
We regularly participate as Advisory Board members for local computer and information technology programs as well as offer advice and mentorship for students, businesses, and new information technology professionals.
Our Story
The founding members of Brown Hat Consulting met in the military. After separating from active duty, they teamed up to work in the transportation industry. During that time, they brainstormed the idea of another business where they could continue to leverage the benefits of their military experience, maintain a solid foundation, and build the resources to lift others as well as themselves.
Choosing the path less traveled, the cofounders worked two different technology tracks within the federal government, gaining valuable experience, insight, and resources along the way. Now, with Brown Hat Consulting, they pass this gain to businesses, entrepreneurs, individuals, and organizations that need any sort of information technology service. They also use Brown Hat Consulting to provide real-life training and experience to those attempting to find employment in some part of the information technology industry.
